Second continuous drying kiln successfully started up at Piveteau Bois
OS Panto is pleased to announce the start-up and commissioning of the new continuous wood drying kiln at our customer Piveteau Bois, France.
This project concerned the construction of a second unit (twin of the first already in operation since 2022) with the expansion and revamping of the batch management line.
The system was completed in 6 months, including assembly and commissioning, keeping the milestones agreed with the customer on time; demonstrating the competence, efficiency and excellent collaboration between Piveteau and OS Panto.
The new continuous kiln immediately went into production, doubling the production capacity of the plant and at the same time allowing the execution of performance tests for the final acceptance of the plant.
The project also involved the expansion of the mechanization of the batch management line, also with the introduction of new optimized cycles that allow complete automation of the loading and unloading operations of the ovens, allowing up to a week of fully automatic management of the facilities.
Our Customer will be able to benefit from new optimized drying processes, which will result in reduced times and greater efficiency.
